Media Registration Opens for the 2026 NORRA 500 Baja Coast Challenge

Four Days of Competition, History and Baja Adventure Return to the Pacific Coast

ENSENADA, Baja California, Mexico: Media registration is now open for the 2026 NORRA 500 Baja Coast Challenge, taking place October 8 through 11 in Baja California, Mexico.

Set against the backdrop of Baja’s Pacific coast, the NORRA 500 combines the sport’s rich history with modern competition and the camaraderie that has long defined the NORRA experience.

Event coverage begins Thursday, October 8, with FanFest, Contingency and Tech Inspection in downtown Ensenada. Competitors take the green flag Friday for the race south to San Quintín before returning north Saturday for the finish at Estero Beach. The weekend concludes Sunday with NORRA Awards Pickup at Cervecería Transpeninsular.

The event will offer a wide range of editorial, photography and video opportunities, including competition for $32,000 in promoter-guaranteed prize money, the return of the King of the Beach Challenge, historic race vehicles in action, and the racers, teams and communities that make the NORRA 500 distinctly Baja.

Professional working media covering the event for a recognized publication, race team, sponsor or vendor must submit a Letter of Assignment with their application. NORRA will review each applicant and assign accreditation based on professional experience, assignment and requested access.

Content creators are also encouraged to apply for designated event access and benefits. Content Creator credentials do not include Accredited Media status or unrestricted racecourse access.

All approved applicants must follow NORRA Media Policies, complete the required release and waiver, attend mandatory safety briefings, and display their credentials and numbered media vest while working.

Drone operations require separate advance approval. Operators must provide the required aviation credentials and proof of liability insurance before the event. Unapproved drone operations will not be permitted.

Media registration closes Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Late and on-site applications will not be accepted.
