NORRA Safari Expedition Begins Stateside

The Meyers Manx Safari Expedition at the NORRA 500 begins stateside in 2025. The Expedition begins on October 9th and runs through the 12th around Ensenada, Baja Mexico. The Meyers Manx Safari Expedition is unique to NORRA. It is a guided tour of Baja that puts you right in the mix of the Mexican 1000 or NORRA 500. It is open to street legal vehicles that are capable of off road travel. It will be filled with stunning mountain vistas and cool, Pacific Ocean breezes. Participants will rendezvous at the Vogt Ranch off California highway 94 on the United States side of the US/Mexico border before heading south through Tecate. After meeting everyone and doing a vehicle check at Vogt Ranch, the caravan will head across the border as a group.

From Tecate the adventure begins immediately as they head down to Hacienda Santa Veronica for lunch. The famous Hacienda was once used to train bull fighters for the arena. From there the route follows epic dirt trails through the mountains to the Riviera Convention Center in downtown Ensenada for race vehicle technical inspection and contingency. Safari participants will mingle with fans and check out the incredible race vehicles and their drivers. Mac Johnson´s Vintage Classic Car Round-Up pays tribute to Pioneer, Legends, Challenger and Vintage Era vehicles and a Grand Marshall Meet and Greet with Curt LeDuc. The Welcome Fiesta will feature food and drinks. After an incredible day one, Safari participants will still have another two full days of fun and adventure in Baja. Finish line celebrations will take place at the Horsepower ranch one day and Estero beach the other!

The Meyers Manx Safari Expedition puts you right in the action of the NORRA 500. The NORRA 500 field is filled with historic and restored vehicles, as well as Motorcycles, ATV’s, and modern race cars, and trucks. Competitors span the range from current racing professionals and icons of the sport to average Joes experiencing the adventure of a lifetime.
