NORRA Mexican 1000 Competitors Get Your Wristbands and Update Your Info

As we get closer to the greatest Baja racing adventure, the NORRA Mexican 1000, it’s crucial that you have your team’s profile 100% complete and accurate. There are new rules that will be implemented during contingency and technical inspection as well as during the start of each stage. New safety procedures are in place that requires you to designate each team member’s role. Wristbands for driver of record, co-drivers, and crew members will be used along with a new designation for navigators who do not operate the vehicle. Each wristband identifies the responsibilities and obligations of those crew members. Strict adherence to the wristband rules will be enforced.

In order to make things easier at registration, there is a new online waiver that every participant must fill out prior to the event. Anyone who will be in the vehicle needs to have complete profile information filled out and the waiver signed. Please have this done online while registration is still open and before getting to Ensenada. We will also be using driver and co-driver photos from your profile during the live feed of the event. Make sure the photos are appropriate head shots and of decent quality so we can show you in the best light. NORRA will host an online meeting at 6:00 pm Pacific time on Monday, February 24th if you have any questions about the new procedures.
