2024 NORRA 500 Schedule of Events Released

The 2024 NORRA 500 is all new. The rally heads to a first ever overnight stay in San Quintin for an entirely different NORRA racing experience. Not only will competitors be on routes never before raced on, but each day will have a completely different flavor. Day one is mountainous. Day two runs along the Pacific Ocean. Both days will be fast and exciting. We could see record fast times on this course. You don’t want to miss out on this one. Contingency and tech inspection will be held at the Riviera Convention Center in Ensenada, Baja Mexico on Friday, October 11th. UTV’s and Pro 2000 competitors will be first through tech as they are qualifying that afternoon. Prize money has been doubled for this event. The UTV Pro Turbo class will take home twenty thousand dollars. The winner of the Pro 2000 UTV and class 10 car combined class will also receive twenty thousand dollars in prize money. Winners take all!

Contingency will be packed all day with fans, fun and special events. Mac Johnson´s Vintage, Classic Car Round-Up will have iconic vehicles on display that represent the evolution of off road racing. There will be a special meet and greet there with our distinguished Grand Marshal from 12pm to 1pm. Evolution and Historic Eras Tech Inspection will be from 11am to 6pm. Classic Car Tech Inspection is from 1pm to 6pm. Keep your eyes open for racer alerts that will give you information on the necessary details. The day is capped off with the Welcome Fiesta from 2pm to 6pm in the Riviera Convention Center (Desert Garden). From 6pm to 7pm is the MANDATORY Drivers Meeting in the Riviera Convention Center.

Saturday the 12th begins in Santo Tomas with Safari Expedition Staging at 6:00am for a 6:30 start. 4 wheel vehicles will start day one at 7:30am for staging. They leave the line at 8:00am. After an exciting day of racing, the Finish Line Celebration will have Food, Drinks and Live Music in San Quintin at the Molino Viejo Restaurant (Beach Front) from 2 to 8pm. Staging times are the same on day two in San Quintin. The start line will be at the Mission Santa Maria Hotel Access Road (Old Hwy 1). Unofficial results will begin posting online as soon as they are available. The Finish Line Celebration and trophy pick up with food, drinks and live music will be held 2pm to 8pm at the Riviera Convention Center Desert Garden.
