NORRA Mexican 1000 Registration Opens December 1st

The time is now to prepare for an incredible NORRA Mexican 1000 in 2024. NORRA has made many changes to enhance the Mexican 1000 for everyone. Registration for the race opens on December 1st at 12:00 noon Pacific Time. The legendary NORRA Mexican 1000 is a point to point race that travels down the Baja peninsula; it’s an epic adventure. Competitors race rally style on timed special stages. It is a speed contest as well as a mental challenge. At the end of each day there is plenty of time for celebration in a new town along the route making for an incredible Baja experience. Even if you don’t have a race vehicle, you can enter the Safari Expedition for street legal vehicles. You will be on a guided tour that takes in key points of interest, watches the racers compete, and allows you to celebrate after the racing is done with Baja legends, current professionals and average Joes living out their dreams.

In order to register you need to first create a NORRA account at www.norra.com. Click on the register tab under the NORRA logo on the home page. You can create your NORRA account before registration opens. You can then enter the information about your team and upload photos of your entry and team members. Those who are coming back should already have an account, but they can update the details about their race team. Just follow the prompt’s to complete your account. When registration begins you can sign up for the race using your account. Your account page will have all the information about your entry status, and team profile. The contact you provide will be where all information from NORRA will be shared. There are options available for payment of entry fees when you register. You can pay it all at once or enter into a payment plan to spread those payments out. You will be able to reserve a room in Bahia de Los Angeles (4-wheel race classes) and San Ignacio (4-wheel race classes and bikes), if paid in full until the rooms sell out. Typically rooms sell out quickly so act fast. At NORRA, we are dedicated to having the best time ever while racing Baja so we make it easy for you. If your team will be flying a helicopter, fixed wing aircraft or a drone, you also need to register those when you enter.

We have an incredible race planned for you in 2024. We’ve included so much fun, racing and celebrations this year that we had to add another full day to the schedule. We’ve taken the time to map out different courses for bikes, 4 wheeled vehicles and the Safari Expedition in order to create the most incredible memories for all. The additional day of racing is in order for teams to experience San Ignacio’s charm and historic character. Four wheeled vehicles, bikes and the Safari Expedition will all enjoy unique trails, racers will converge in San Ignacio for an incredible celebration, and the Safari Expedition will travel to San Juanico for a memorable experience. The new course configuration and additional day of racing means new trails, new challenges and new scenery will be experienced by all.
