AGUA DULCE, CALIF. - The Yokohama NORRA Mexican 1000 Presented by Meyers Manx is unlike any other event. Traveling the Baja Peninsula from top to bottom, you will experience the time of your life. That’s why it’s important to document your adventure. The memories you make will last forever, especially if you contact one of the professional photographers who cover the race. NORRA has assembled the best in the business to document the rally for us each year, and you can do the same. Bink Designs, Getsome Photo, Fotosol, and Ernesto Araiza will be providing coverage this year. If you want professional photographs of your team in action, contact them before the race to secure a spot on their roster. Don’t leave it to chance; they cover all competitors, but if you contract with them beforehand, they will give special attention to your team.

Not only are each of these media companies top professionals, but they all have tons of Baja knowledge. Baja is rugged, remote and spectacularly beautiful. These photographers know where to go and how to capture the action. They operate in conditions that would intimidate most photographers, but they do it because they love Baja as much as you do. If you get with them before the event it will be one less thing to deal with. You know you’ll be covered with striking photos for your team members, your media, and those who just can’t make it down to share the fun. There is no better way to share what the Mexican 1000 is all about with friends, family or colleagues than to show them actual photos.

BINK DESIGNS is geared up to capture the exciting moments at contingency and closely follow the cars during the race. Their daily STEEL-IT updates can be expected on NORRA's social media channels. Moreover, Bink Designs provides exclusive photo packages that can capture the energy and thrill of the event, showcasing your team in the best light. Visit or email for additional information.

FOTOSOL are the Baja locals who capture a bit of everything. Email or visit for photo and video package prices.

GETSOME PHOTO With over 20 years of experience photographing the best of Baja, GETSOMEphoto will be concentrating on both bikes and cars. They will also be contributing to the STEEL-IT reports. GSP has a special NORRA only pre-race packages available. Call or text Art Eugenio at (619) 335-7532 or visit or email for more info.

Ernesto Araiza is a talented photo-journalist who created his own book during last year’s event and will be back again this year. His "THE MEXICAN 1000" book is limited to 500 hand-numbered copies. NORRA will give one away for each entry with the option to purchase more at a cost of $75 dollars apiece. They are offered on a first come, first served basis. If you want to purchase one without a race entry, you need to attend contingency on Friday the 28th in Ensenada. They will be in the Red Room of the Hotel Riviera at noon.

Ernesto will have a book signing and sale during contingency Friday - don't miss your chance to own the LIMITED EDITION - "THE MEXICAN 1000" Book! (Book render, not actual dimensions). Photo excerpt from the book itself.

WATCH! In 2022, during the NORRA Mexican 1000 I was able to capture some of most of my emblematic photographs and luckily my friends Dyson DeSoto and Milan Spasíc were there to capture some of those magical moments. Now this collection of photos are on my book "The Mexican 1000".

###   Good Vibes. Good Times!   ###

Beginning in 2010, the National Off Road Racing Association (NORRA) began promoting a rebirth of the NORRA Mexican 1000 rally. The unique off-road rally was co-created by promoter Mike Pearlman to consist of special stages (unlimited speed timed stages in the dirt) linked together by controlled speed liaison / transit sections (highway). The one-of-a-kind, once-a-year, five-day rally includes vintage off-road vehicles and motorcycles, as well as modern pre-runners, trucks, buggies, UTVs, bikes and desert Rally Raid cars.

Pearlman’s late father Ed and others established the first running of the NORRA Mexican 1000 off-road rally in November of 1967, which eventually became internationally recognized and evolved into the Baja 1000 in the mid-1970’s.

NORRA enjoys corporate partnerships with Yokohama Tire, Meyers Manx, Bilstein Shock Absorbers, STEEL-IT, Raceline Wheels / Nomad Wheels / Mobelwagen Wheels, Optima Batteries, Hellwig Suspension Products, McMillin Racing, Rugged Radios, Multitool USA, Cervecería Transpeninsular, PCI Race Radios, Schampa, Baja Bush Pilots, The Fab School, Mag7 Pits, the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame (ORMHOF), B3KREATIV, and many more.
