MAG 7 pits include generators, welders, lights, air, tools, and other important pit gear. All MAG 7 pits will monitor 153.380 which should be pre-programmed into most race radios as “MAG 7”. Emergency Service includes repairs to get you to the next point but NO FUELING.

Sign-ups and fuel orders can be made on the MAG 7 website at: www.mag7desertpitservices.org. The deadline to signup is Friday, April 21.

Please note that your pit support fees are lower with MAG 7 because MAG 7 is not a business and the pit fees simply cover some of the MAG 7 volunteers’ expenses to be in Baja for you!

The volunteer pit captains and crews of MAG 7 are excited to be able to support you at the 2023 Mexican 1000. If you are interested in joining the MAG 7 “Brotherhood”, please contact them on their website or Facebook page. MAG 7 Desert Pit Services…supporting Baja racers since 1967

ABOUT NORRA

Beginning in 2010, the National Off Road Racing Association (NORRA) began promoting a rebirth of the NORRA Mexican 1000 rally. The unique off-road rally was co-created by promoter Mike Pearlman to consist of special stages (unlimited speed timed stages in the dirt) linked together by controlled speed liaison / transit sections (highway). The one-of-a-kind, once-a-year, five-day rally includes vintage off-road vehicles and motorcycles, as well as modern pre-runners, trucks, buggies, UTVs, bikes and desert Rally Raid cars.

Pearlman’s late father Ed and others established the first running of the NORRA Mexican 1000 off-road rally in November of 1967, which eventually became internationally recognized and evolved into the Baja 1000 in the mid-1970’s.

NORRA enjoys corporate partnerships with Yokohama Tire, Meyers Manx, Bilstein Shock Absorbers, Rugged Radios, STEEL-IT, Raceline Wheels / Nomad Wheels / Mobelwagen Wheels, Adler Motorsports, McMillin Racing, Maxima Racing Oils, Multitool USA, Biltwell, Cervecería Transpeninsular, PCI Race Radios, Schampa, K&N, Baja Bush Pilots, The Fab School, Mag7 Pits, the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame (ORMHOF), B3KREATIV, and many more.
