Those who are not racers need to go to our booth and find out about the Safari class that’s for street legal vehicles. The Safari class is unique to NORRA. It is a guided tour of Baja that puts you right in the mix at the Mexican 1000. You will take the green flag each day, and follow sections of the race course, but also take time to see the sights, and visit points of interest along the way. During the trip, you will stay in beautiful hotels, and quaint little inns. You will see many out of the way places that only seasoned Baja travelers know about; from the most spectacular missions and beaches, to the best taco stands. Your guided tour each day will eventually lead to the checkered flag where you will cheer on the finishers before joining everyone at the nightly celebrations that take place in unique destinations along the way.

NORRA racers Kevin and Michele Busch will be holding a seminar on Saturday at 4:15pm and Sunday at 3:30pm. They are 2021 NORRA overall motorcycle champions. They rode double in competition for several years. Not only are they amazing riders, but also incredibly inspirational and huge supporters of NORRA.

The NORRA Mexican 1000, and NORRA 500 are unique events due to the challenge, beauty, and enjoyment that is found on the Baja Peninsula. NORRA competitors take part in an incredible event, and become seasoned Baja travelers along the way. Join us for all the fun and adventure. ABOUT NORRA

Beginning in 2010, the National Off Road Racing Association (NORRA) began promoting a rebirth of the NORRA Mexican 1000 rally. The unique off-road rally was co-created by promoter Mike Pearlman to consist of special stages (unlimited speed timed stages in the dirt) linked together by controlled speed liaison / transit sections (highway). The one-of-a-kind, once-a-year, five-day rally includes vintage off-road vehicles and motorcycles, as well as modern pre-runners, trucks, buggies, UTVs, bikes and desert Rally Raid cars.

Pearlman’s late father Ed and others established the first running of the NORRA Mexican 1000 off-road rally in November of 1967, which eventually became internationally recognized and evolved into the Baja 1000 in the mid-1970’s.

NORRA enjoys corporate partnerships with Yokohama Tire, Bilstein Shock Absorbers, STEEL-IT, Rugged Radios, Adler Motorsports, McMillin Racing, Maxima Racing Oils, Multitool USA, Satélite del Norte, Biltwell, Cerveceria Transpeninsular, PCI Race Radios, Schampa, K&N, Baja Bush Pilots, The Fab School, Mag7 Pits, the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame (ORMHOF), B3KREATIV, and many more.
