NORRA LIVE! Livestream Coverage -
Of The 2022 Yokohama NORRA Mexican 1000 Presented By Method Race Wheels
AGUA DULCE, CALIF. NORRA has assembled a talented international crew to bring you incredible coverage of the 2022 Yokohama Mexican 1000 presented by Method Race Wheels. Our team will be broadcasting live each day of the rally as it travels from the starting point in Ensenada, BC all the way to San Jose del Cabo, BCS with stops each night along the way in San Felipe, Bahia De Los Angeles, Guerrero Negro, Loreto, and La Paz. The live coverage will begin at the Riviera Convention Center on April 29th with two days of contingency and interviews including coverage of the Stroppe Classic Car Round-up featuring the “Big Oly” Bronco and several other iconic off road vehicles.
Daily live coverage of the race kicks off on May 1 at 8:00 am Pacific time to 12:00 noon. Later each day the live feed continues from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Crews will be out on the course in several locations filming race action for the nightly broadcast, and for highlight videos that will be posted to the NORRA YouTube page. Bink Designs, and Getsome Photo will be capturing photos from remote areas along the course that will be included in our social media posts on Facebook, and Instagram and daily recap press releases that will go out following the morning live feed broadcast each day.

ABOUT NORRA
Beginning in 2010, the National Off Road Racing Association (NORRA) began promoting a rebirth of the NORRA Mexican 1000 rally. The unique off-road rally was co-created by promoter Mike Pearlman to consist of special stages (unlimited speed timed stages in the dirt) linked together by controlled speed liaison / transit sections (highway). The one-of-a-kind, once-a-year, five-day rally includes vintage off-road vehicles and motorcycles, as well as modern pre-runners, trucks, buggies, UTVs, bikes and desert Rally Raid cars.
Pearlman’s late father Ed and others established the first running of the NORRA Mexican 1000 off-road rally in November of 1967, which eventually became internationally recognized and evolved into the Baja 1000 in the mid-1970’s.
