Last Minute: Two Additional Safari Registration Slots Are Available

The Safari Expedition for the 2026 NORRA 500 sold out fast. Two additional registration positions have just become available. They are open now, first come, first served.

The Safari Expedition is unique to NORRA. It is a non-competitive, organized driving experience through Baja that puts you right in the mix of the NORRA 500, and you do not need to own a race car. The group meets north of the border and crosses into Mexico together, then leaves the pavement behind and runs a dirt route into Ensenada. From there you take the green flag each day, follow parts of the racecourse, and have time for photos, scenic vistas and local fare. Run slow or fast, up to 60 mph. Helmets and race suits are not required.

Your entry fee includes all the basic race expenses: land use fees, rescue efforts, race ops monitoring, sweep and recovery vehicles, and Fab School overnight repair stations at finish lines every day. A hospitality package is included in the entry fee, with a room every night. Every occupant must purchase a Driver or Co-Driver wristband.
