NORRA 500 Returns to a Two-Day Race Format

The NORRA 500 is excited to announce a return to its classic two-day race format, now scheduled from October 11th through October 13th. After careful consideration and feedback from our racing community, we have made this adjustment to ensure the best possible experience for all participants. This decision, while reflective of our commitment to providing a top-tier racing event, also acknowledges the logistical needs and preferences of our dedicated racers and supporters.

The event will kick off on Friday, October 11th in Ensenada with UTV qualifying, tech inspection and Contingency to ensure all vehicles are race-ready and compliant. The racing action will officially begin on Saturday the 12th, marking the first of two intense days of competition. Day one will see competitors journeying on new routes through the rugged and scenic terrains that NORRA is renowned for, culminating in an overnight stay at San Quintin. The second and final race day on Sunday, October 13th will have participants racing from San Quintin back to Ensenada, where the finish line celebration will take place at the Rivera Cultural Center with awards pick-up that evening.

The NORRA 500 continues to offer a diverse range of classes, from vintage-era vehicles to the latest Evolution Era trucks, buggies, and UTVs. UTV qualifying will be conducted to determine starting positions, with substantial prize money up for grabs in the Pro Turbo & Pro 2000 classes. Additionally, our unique Safari class provides an opportunity for non-racers to immerse themselves in the Baja experience, guided by seasoned experts.
