NORRA’s Mexican 1000 Reaches Uncharted Territory for Motorcycles

The 2024 NORRA Mexican 1000 is the Baja motorcycle racing event you don’t want to miss. This isn’t some race you have to suffer through to say you did it. You will want to ride it because it’s so fun and the overall motorcycle Pro class winner’s purse will be up to 10K depending on number of entries.

The Mexican 1000 takes place on a bike specific course designed by Dakar Veteran Jimmy Lewis that goes where the cars can’t. Two days out of the six days of rally style racing include full coast to coast peninsula crossings. It also contains a 616 km long Marathon stage. Riders use roadbook navigation; no GPS and there are pro and amateur categories. Special deals on roadbook equipment are at www.rallymotoshop.com if you need it. Bikes and cars are on different tracks and at different times for safe, unobstructed racing. Total distance covered on the peninsula is 2193 km. Total timed race stage mileage is 1547 km.

The competition is heating up; you’ll be really missing out by skipping this one. Online registration is open at www.norra.com until April 18th. Go to the site to find out for yourself why NORRA is unlike anything else then join us for the ultimate Baja racing experience.
