MAG 7 Pit Support at the Mexican 1000
For 4-Wheel Racers
The Magnificent 7 Desert Pit Services team supported off road racers during the very first NORRA races in 1967 and 1968 and will be there for you again this race! For the 2024 MEXICAN 1000, MAG 7 will provide 8 pits spaced so that racers will be able stay fueled during the longer sections of the course especially where fuel may not be available at a local station or chase trucks cannot readily access.
MAG 7 is a 501c7 non-profit fraternal organization. The “Brothers and Sisters” in MAG 7 are all volunteers who support their extended family of offroad racers like you because they love doing it and they love doing it together.
MAG 7 will be providing “Full Service” for fueling at all pits. Fuels offered include 91 pump gas, UTV 95, 100 leaded, 100 unleaded, and 110 leaded. This includes “Emergency Service” for temporary repairs and other field support. MAG 7 pits include generators, welders, lights, air, tools, and other important pit gear. Racers can also sign up for “Emergency Service” only which is NO FUELING. Pits are:

MAG 7 “Pit 0” HQ at Campo Playa RV Park on Boulevard las Dunas in Ensenada will be open during Registration/Tech for pick up for your pre-ordered fuel and spares drop off. Spares for Days 2-5 must be dropped off by Friday at noon.
For “Full Service”, racers can pre-order fuel to be purchased and hauled to the pit location then dumped by the MAG 7 pit crews. “Full Service” is available for a pit fee of $850 and “Emergency Service” is $650. The fees include your MAG 7 membership for this race. Please note that your pit support fees are lower with MAG 7 because MAG 7 is not a business and the pit fees simply cover some of the MAG 7 volunteers’ expenses to be in Baja for you!
SAFETY NOTE: For safety reasons, all racers are limited to ordering 15 gallons of fuel at each MAG 7 pits. Sign-ups and fuel orders can be made on the MAG 7 website at: www.mag7desertpitservices.org. The deadline to signup is 3 pm on Monday, April 22.
The volunteer pit captains and crews of MAG 7 are excited to be able to support you at the 2024 Mexican 1000. If you have any questions or are interested in joining the MAG 7 family, please contact them on their website or Facebook page. MAG 7 Desert Pit Services…supporting Baja racers since 1967!
