NORRA New Bike Rules Further Refined

NORRA revised the motorcycle class rules for 2024 and there was some confusing language about the GPS assisted class. We consulted with several NORRA racers and were able to come up with even more comprehensive and streamlined bike classes.

We now have 5 classes of roadbook only navigation for motos: Pro Rally, Amateur Rally, 50+, 60+, and Vintage which is for motos/atc/atv made in 1999 and older.

The NORRA GPS assisted classes are designated Sportsman class. The Sportsman class allows gps navigation and is open to vintage moto/atc/atv made in 1999 or older. If a Sportsman rider is 60 years old or older then they may ride any year moto in this class.

We regret causing any confusion and hope this clears things up. NORRA has put together incredible courses for bike competitors at the NORRA Mexican 1000.
