Cerveceria Transpeninsular Brings Best Of Baja to the Mexican 1000!
Two Collector Can Designs Created for This Years Return to Baja Racing!

Agua Dulce, CALIF. – A big part of the Yokohama NORRA Mexican 1000, presented by Method Race Wheels, is the many sights, sounds, and tastes of Baja that one can experience during the Rally. Cerveceria Transpeninsular makes sure every celebration begins with their delicious beer brewed exclusively for the “The Happiest Race On Earth!”. Transpeninsular’s Collin Corrigan is very excited to share his locally brewed beer with NORRA participants, and to see NORRA racing return to Baja. This year’s event will be on a totally unique course that travels over one thousand miles; some of it never raced on before. There will be wide open stages, and tight technical sections that will have everyone needing a beer once they’ve crossed the finish line.

This years Transpeninsular Cerveza Clara comes in specially designed collectors cans with one of 2 new designs for 2021. It’s easy to collect the cans, but hard not to indulge in the crisp, delicious beer found inside. One can design depicts the winningest truck at NORRA, the CABALLO DEL DIABLO Ford Bronco driven by photographer Boyd Jaynes, and Method Race Wheels’ Brian Godfrey. The other design pays tribute to the incredible racing duo of Kevin, and Michele Busch. The Busch’s ride tandem on their motorcycle which is unique in all of motorcycle competition unless it’s sidecar racing. Both of the Busch’s, Jaynes, and Godfrey have all toasted many incredible days in Baja with a cold Transpeninsular Cerveza Clara in hand. There is nothing more refreshing than a cold brew after a long day out on the course, and at the Mexican 1000, every day is a celebration. It’s a celebration of friends, of competition, and the many beautiful things found only in Baja.
Some of the most rewarding things that you will take away from the Mexican 1000 are the friendships you will develop along the way. After days of competition, and nights of celebration, there is a unique camaraderie that is forged between everyone in attendance. There is genuine rivalry on the course, but the overall goal always becomes getting everyone to the finish line at the Horsepower Ranch. ABOUT NORRA
Beginning in 2010, the National Off Road Racing Association (NORRA) began promoting a rebirth of the NORRA Mexican 1000 rally. The unique off-road rally was co-created by promoter Mike Pearlman to consist of special stages (unlimited speed timed stages in the dirt) linked together by controlled speed liaison / transit sections (highway). The one-of-a-kind, once-a-year, five-day rally includes vintage off-road vehicles and motorcycles, as well as modern pre-runners, trucks, buggies, UTVs, bikes and desert Rally Raid cars.
Pearlman’s late father Ed and others established the first running of the NORRA Mexican 1000 off-road rally in November of 1967, which eventually became internationally recognized and evolved into the Baja 1000 in the mid-1970's.
