Media Registration Now Open for NORRA’s Baja 6 Day Rally

NORRA welcomes our friends in the media to join us at the 2026 NORRA’s Baja 6 Day Rally. No other event offers the rich history, amazing tales, interesting characters and spectacular backdrops that NORRA’s Baja delivers. Every stage of the rally has its own unique flavor; all demonstrating the challenge and beauty of the Baja Peninsula. The rally travels south for 6 days of racing down the Peninsula with an overnight stop in a new town each night. Classes are for motorcycles, UTV’s, modern race cars, historic vehicles and street legal Safari participants. there is a class for every competitor and a story for every audience. Entries span the entire history of offroad racing, over 50 years. Online registration at www.norra.com closes April 24, 2026 at 6pm Pacific time and there is NO ON SITE MEDIA REGISTRATION this year.

The competition will be more intense than ever this year. Competitors will be battling it out for big prize money in the King of Baja Challenge for the 6100 trucks. The total prize pool is $100,000. The racer who earns the King of Baja title will take home $70,000 for first place. Second place earns $20,000 and $10,000 goes to third. Side by sides also have stacks of cash on the line. The overall winning side by side (SXS) will take home $15,000. Second place overall SXS gets $3,000 and third place overall SXS will win $2,000. Additional prize money of $10,000 will be awarded to the winner of the SXS Pro Forced Induction (FI) class. In the Pro SXS vs Class 10 Challenge, first place vehicle will win $10,000 whether it’s a Pro SXS or Class 10. For the class 10 cars there is also the Lozano Performance bonus. If there are eight Class 10 entries, and a Class 10 wins, they will win a Honda K24 race engine from Lozano Performance.

Interesting stories of personal triumphs abound every time NORRA challenges racers to run the entire length of the Baja Peninsula. The field includes racing icons like Larry Ragland, Ricky Johnson, Tim Herbst, Mark Post, Carl Renezeder, Ryan Arciero and the “GOAT” Rob MacCachren. The field is also brimming with current hard chargers who are chomping at the bit to make their own mark at the legendary event. Even non-racers can participate in the Safari Expedition that’s open to street legal, off road vehicles. The best part is it all takes place in the most incredible racing terrain and spectacular scenery on Earth: Baja.
